MY GRANDFATHER WAS A CHERRY TREE

In the Italian school, after reading "My grandfather was a cherry tree" by Angela Nanetti, the children of class IV A have summarized and memorized the last chapter, their favourite. Memorization techniques contribute with the learning process and in this case, the fact that they have been reading a book by an Italian author, made them to be more interested not only in the plot and the book itself but also in all of this learning and memoristic process.
