A JEWEL IN HIS TREASURY CHEST

The National Park of the Casentino forests is the pride of our area.

Year 3 class students have prepared a book on an important product of our national park: the Chestnut is so important that it is also called "The tree of bread".

This important resource was addressed by our kids from different points of view and the big book that was born will be exhibited in our school library.

The title of the book is "A jewel in his treasure chest" and its cover was made with the use of Casentino wool: the museum of which was visited by Spanish and Italian students during the meeting that took place in Italy in May 2017.
