WHAT THE LOCAL LIBRARY MEANS FOR THE SPANISH SCHOOL

Many students of the Spanish school belong to families of social disadvantage and they do not even have a place at home to study, people who can help them or even access to new technology. It has been the aim of the school this year, to familiarize them with the use of the local library. The Local library gives people the access to knowledge through both books and new technologies, aspects that can help those students who do not have these possibilities at home. That is why in the Spanish school, at the beginning of the school year, teachers offer themselves to make the paperwork so that children could have the local library membership card. Many families join this offer and now more students can have access to books, computers and a good atmosphere that helps them to deal with their school tasks after school.
