MUSICAL TALES

During the first and the second term, the youngest students of primary in the Spanish school, worked through the book The Carnival of the Animals. They worked with this book mainly in the subjects of Spanish and Music. They read the story by practising different aspects of the reading skill. They also made posters and crafts, and they even got started in the world of poetry writing their own poems about the differents animals that appear in the story. In the subject of Music, they learnt about the music that helds the story and made a little performance about it.

It has been a very enrichable and satisfactory experience because children got really motivated with the reading through this story. They could work different aspects of the reading skill and even start their own writing productions. They could know about this classical and important story and they did this working together in small groups in all of the activities they carried out.
